Details Pulmonary/Thoracic Step Down unit setting 3x12-hour AM shifts, 36 hours per week No on-call requirements 13-week assignment length Navy blue scrubs required Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required in hand Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 18 months of Step Down experience within the past 3 years required Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide step-down level nursing care to pulmonary and thoracic patients Must complete a proctored rhythm identification test upon starting, with two attempts allowed and no multiple choice format Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed First-time travelers may be considered for this role American Traveler Job ID P-750268.
