Job Title AP Vendor Maintenance Specialist (Contract) Location Boca Raton, FL (Fully In‑Person) Compensation $25.00 – $27.00 per hour Schedule Part‑Time (Approx. 20 hours/week) – Flexible hours! Position Type Contract (with Temp‑to‑Permanent potential) Mission We are a growing company in Boca Raton preparing for a major enterprise‑wide ERP software implementation in 2027. We need to clear out a massive legacy vendor database. We are looking for a sharp, analytical Data Detective to lead the cleanup mission. An AP Investigator : you have solid, foundational Accounts Payable knowledge and a deep understanding of complex financial workflows, and you know what a clean vendor file should look like. A Detail‑Obsessive : you notice when a single digit is off. Self‑Driven & Focused : you thrive when given the autonomy to drive a mission forward with a lean internal team managing daily operations. Responsibilities Vendor Master File Audit: Review and clean up the vendor database in Great Plains, systematically evaluating a backlog of 10,000+ vendor profiles. Data Investigation & Validation: Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, validate contract terms, payment histories, and vendor details. Contact Information Verification: Proactively verify, update, and correct outdated vendor contact details including phone numbers, email addresses, and physical locations. Compliance & Documentation Capture: Audit existing files to secure missing compliance documentation, focusing on up‑to‑date W9s, tax IDs, and verified banking information. ERP Implementation Prep: Format, structure, and finalize vendor data to prep the system for an upcoming enterprise‑wide ERP data migration.
