Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Arvada, Colorado

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current or eligible licensure for SLP in Colorado
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Previous experience working in educational settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, assessment, and evidence-based intervention strategies
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and diagnostic evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication challenges
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services within the school environment
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and legal compliance for student records
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff in-service training sessions as needed
