Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a student support role preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to helping students achieve their best
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or associate’s degree a plus
- Ability to follow directions and assist with instructional activities under teacher supervision
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classrooms and small group settings
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and the implementation of educational programs
- Facilitate positive relationships and encourage student engagement
- Monitor student progress and help with data collection as needed
- Ensure a safe, supportive environment, intervening with empathy and professionalism
- Adapt instructional materials and approaches based on individual student needs

Compensation for this position ranges from $16.90 to $35.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
