Specialty/Senior Specialty Representative - Bone Health - Rockville Centre, NY (Overlay)

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative to serve as the primary customer contact in the Bone Health division, providing clinical product knowledge to medical professionals and executing sales strategy in the Rockville Centre, NY territory. The role involves driving appropriate product utilization, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen products and communicate benefits to medical professionals
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct medical educational programs to achieve territory sales targets
• Develop and manage customer relationships, customize discussions based on needs, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Analyze territory performance, provide marketing feedback, and develop territory plans with District Manager
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and sustain brand passion throughout the sales cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree plus 4 years sales experience, or high school diploma plus 6 years sales experience
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industry experience preferred
• Product or hospital sales experience in specialty areas such as bone health, oncology, cardiology, or nephrology
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills with focus on sales outcomes
• Local market knowledge and adaptability with core competencies in sales planning, business knowledge, and communication

Compensation: $89,880–$121,602 annual base (Specialty Representative); $115,036–$155,638 annual base (Senior Specialty Representative)
