Shipping and Receiving Clerk 1st ShiftLocation: Niles, ILSchedule: MondayFriday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (Overtime may be required based on production needs)Pay: Starting at $19/hourInterview required prior to placementPosition Overview:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage incoming and outgoing shipments. This role involves both indoor and outdoor work, including coordinating with drivers and supporting warehouse operations.Key Responsibilities:Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and suppliesTrack, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipmentsCollaborate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, and service providersMaintain a clean, organized, and work-ready environmentUnload trucks, sort, and stock incoming materials promptlyMaintain accurate daily logs, including inventory scanning and inventory countsCommunicate professionally with vendors and driversProvide backup support to shipping and receiving operations as neededUtilize warehouse and logistics systems such as WMS, TMS, SAP, or OracleLift and move materials weighing 50 lbs or moreQualifications & Skills:Experience scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stockProficiency in receiving, stocking, stacking, picking, packing, and loading materialsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management and sense of urgencyAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamRequirements:23 years of shipping and receiving experienceAbility to read and write in EnglishDependable, responsible, and willing to assist as needed
