HR Operations & Onboarding Coordinator

What your day looks like Guide new hires through onboarding and orientation so they feel prepared from day one. Keep employee files and HRIS data current, accurate, and audit-ready. Process employment changes—new hires, terminations, and status updates with precision. Answer questions on HR policies, benefits, and procedures in a timely, professional manner. Coordinate training sessions and engagement activities that build community. Assist with payroll preparation and attendance tracking to support accurate pay. Help ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies. Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and documentation as needed. Pitch in on a variety of administrative tasks across the HR team. About you Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience. Superb organization and time management; you can juggle multiple deadlines. Clear, professional written and verbal communication. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Discretion with confidential information and a high level of professionalism. Meticulous attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.Familiarity with HR practices and employment laws is a plus. Nice to have Comfort multitasking in a fast-paced setting. A positive, learning-focused mindset. Spanish/English bilingual skills. Work environment This hybrid role is based in Sterling Heights, MI, operating on a standard day-shift schedule.
