VP Commercial Lending ( Loan Officer )

VP of Commercial Lending (Loan Officer) Locations: Roseville, MN & Monticello, MN (Onsite, M–F) Compensation: Base $100,000–$120,000 + bonus up to 21% of base
Our client, a locally owned community bank, is expanding its commercial lending team and seeking an experienced VP of Commercial Lending. This role manages a commercial loan portfolio, builds strong client relationships, and drives new business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Source, develop, and maintain profitable commercial banking relationships
Conduct sales calls and build strong business connections
Evaluate loan applications, analyze financials, and determine creditworthiness
Approve or recommend credit decisions within lending authority
Manage loan portfolio quality, including reviews, renewals, and delinquency followup
Crosssell banking products and deliver exceptional customer service
Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
Minimum 4 years of commercial lending experience
Strong financial analysis, credit evaluation, and portfolio management skills
Excellent communication, relationshipbuilding, and problemsolving abilities
Proficiency with banking systems and Microsoft Office
