Administrative Assistant
$18 - $20 per hourARTS COMMISSION
Location: Tucson, Arizona (On‑Site) Compensation: $18 – $20 per hour (D.O.E) plus PTO and other benefits Hours Per Week: 15‑20 Classification: Part‑time exempt. Flexible schedule required. Includes regular evening and weekend shifts. Start Date: June 1, 2026 Position open until filled. Position Description: As a versatile and proactive member of the Live Theatre Workshop team, the Administrative Assistant ensures smooth daily operations by providing cross‑functional support to administration, production, education, and facility management. This role requires a highly organized, multi‑talented individual capable of seamlessly transitioning between box office support, production house management, marketing tasks, classroom preparation/organization, light facility maintenance, and set build support. Duties and Responsibilities: Administration Regularly provide support to Box Office as scheduled. Regularly house manage production performances as scheduled. Support day‑to‑day troubleshooting with operations of organization’s computers and technology. Produce weekly sales and income reports. Proofread LTW administrative documents as needed. Assist marketing team in printing flyers, posters, programs. Collect production participant bios and headshots for programs and posting lobby board displays. Manage LTW events in community calendars. Education Support Prep both printed and digital materials for all education classes and camps. Design/Print/display all Education related posters and fliers. Design/print/display lobby board materials for advanced classes and camps. Design and prep print/digital showcase programs for all classes and camps. Assist in maintaining the education supply inventory. Assist in keeping classroom and backstage materials replenished and organized. Provide support to facilities maintenance. Weekly janitorial duties. Weekly watering of plants. Regularly update the exterior marquee. Regularly touch up the interior paint. Perform other duties as assigned (Assist teaching classes, set build support, etc.) Qualification and Skills: Associate or Bachelor’s degree. A high school diploma (or equivalent) with relevant work experience may apply. Minimum of 1–2 years experience in an administrative or production support role, ideally in an arts or non‑profit setting. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Physical ability to perform general facility maintenance duties and set build support. Experience with donor management software (Bloomerang) or box office ticketing systems (TIX) is a plus. Proficiency in Google Suite and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) for light design of flyers/programs.
