The nurse will provide care in a fast-paced environment for adult and geriatric patients. This role involves floating between units as necessary. Weekends will be required, with a commitment of 6 shifts in a 6-week period. Expected patient ratios are 1 nurse to 5 patients. Strong clinical skills in areas such as wound care and post-operative care are essential. Experience with various medical procedures, including central line management and tracheostomy care, is preferred. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is vital for patient care delivery. The applicant must be flexible and able to adapt to a changing healthcare environment. The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. This position does not require on-call duties.
