Brickforce Staffing Indiana is seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Safety Coordinator to join our team and uphold to coordinate safety and compliance at warehouse facilities.
Full Time
Hours 7.00am - 4.00pm
** Position summary: **
The Warehouse Safety Coordinator will ensure a safe working environment, promote a proactive safety culture, and manage all workers' compensation claims from incident through resolution.
** Key responsibilities: **
- Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
- Conduct ongoing training sessions, and regular safety meetings for all warehouse personnel.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all workers' compensation claims, overseeing the entire process from initial injury reporting to return-to-work programs.
- Lead accident and near-miss investigations to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation, including OSHA logs, incident reports, and training records.
- Collaborate with the management team to review accident trends and develop strategic safety initiatives as required by management team.
** Qualifications and skills: **
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator in a warehouse environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for incident investigation and trend analysis.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required to perform key job functions
