Parking Garage Maintenance/Porter - Louisville Marriott - Flexible schedule

Position Parking Garage Maintenance/Porter - Louisville Marriott Compensation Starting pay $12 per hour. Compensation is based on skills, experience, education, and location. Work Schedule Weekdays, weekends, some holidays; all shifts; full or part‑time. Summary The Porter cleans the garage area, maintains equipment, assists guests, and protects confidentiality while providing exceptional hospitality services. Responsibilities Check cleanliness of all garage entrances, elevator landings, and common areas each shift. Empty ash urns daily and clean trash receptacles when ½ full or higher. Sweep litter and cigarette butts from common landing area. Use mop or power washer to remove liquid spills; wipe signage and way‑finding materials. Maintain general cleaning of garage, removing debris, cans, bottles, cups, and other refuse. Wipe all signage, gates, gate arms, card reading equipment, and associated signage. Empty returned key receptacles at each exit and return keys to the Towne Park MOD. Assist guests with directions, inquiries, and provide information about the surrounding area. Maintain guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements and protect financial and identifying information. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least 18 years of age; must pass a criminal background check and drug screen. One to three months of related experience or equivalent education and experience. Customer service experience preferred. Basic general cleaning knowledge. Ability to read, write, and comprehend Standard English. Ability to present information to guests and employees in one‑on‑one and small group settings. Understanding of 24‑hour and military time systems and applicable rates.
