The Spokane Veterans Affairs Medical Center seeks a BC/BE Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing, collegial, and multi-disciplinary team in Spokane, WA focusing on providing exceptional care to our veterans. Responsibilities Review patients' histories, examinations, assessments, and plans for CLC residents, coordinate evaluations, diagnostic testing, clinical follow-up, and care coordination. Coordinate the Community Living Center (CLC) team in the day‑to‑day management of veterans. Promote an atmosphere of efficiency and accuracy in the timeliness of submission of completed documents. Collaborate with nurse practitioners/physician assistants, ancillary health care providers, and various clinical specialties, facilitating hospital admissions, post‑discharge care, and specialty consultations as needed. Participate in screening of veterans and completion of consults for the CLC. Participate in call schedule for telephonic coverage for urgent needs of veterans in the CLC after administrative hours. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings. Perform other clinical duties as assigned by the ACOS for Geriatrics & Extended Care. Qualifications Board certification in Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (ABIM, ABFM). Experience with geriatrics and a multidisciplinary team. 1 full and unrestricted state license from any US state or territory.
