Work Environment

Located in beautiful San Diego, our outpatient facility is designed to provide a comfortable and accessible environment where patients can feel at ease during their rehabilitation journey. As part of our dedicated team, you will enjoy a full-time work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for an ideal work-life balance in a city known for its vibrant lifestyle and outdoor activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities to formulate an accurate diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating hands-on therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to meet each patient's specific needs and recovery goals.
• Implement treatment regimens that include various interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities like ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or ice/heat applications to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Deliver education to patients and their families on body mechanics, exercise techniques, and strategies for preventing future injuries.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed based on clinical outcomes and feedback.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous patient records, documenting all assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately to comply with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We cater to a wide range of patient demographics dealing with various conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, post-surgical rehabilitation, and orthopedic concerns. Our therapists work closely with patients suffering from common ailments such as back and neck pain, osteoarthritis, tendonitis, sprains, fractures, and gait deficiencies, developing targeted, effective recovery plans to meet each patient's unique needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Board certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy settings.
• Strong foundation in advanced physical therapy techniques and modalities.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills necessary to assess and respond to patients' rehabilitation needs effectively.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year's experience is required, we highly value candidates that have five years or more of clinical experience and can demonstrate proficiency in specialized techniques relevant to outpatient therapy, including post-surgical care and sports rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
