About the Opportunity

LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Asset Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of a diverse commercial real estate portfolio throughout the Pacific Northwest. This individual will play a key role in driving asset value, maximizing revenue, and supporting strategic initiatives across a portfolio. The ideal candidate is a proactive, analytical real estate professional with a strong understanding of commercial property performance, financial analysis, leasing, capital projects, and ownership reporting.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership and ownership while influencing key decisions that directly impact portfolio performance and long-term investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the financial and operational performance of a commercial real estate portfolio.
• Develop and execute asset-specific business plans designed to maximize property value and return on investment.
• Analyze property financial statements, operating budgets, cash flow projections, and variance reports.
• Monitor key performance indicators including occupancy, leasing activity, NOI, operating expenses, and market trends.
• Collaborate with property management, leasing, construction, and accounting teams to achieve portfolio objectives.
• Oversee capital improvement projects and tenant improvement initiatives to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Evaluate leasing strategies, renewals, tenant retention efforts, and market positioning opportunities.
• Prepare ownership and investor reporting packages, including financial summaries, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews and identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce expenses, and increase asset value.
• Maintain strong relationships with ownership groups, brokers, lenders, tenants, and external partners.
• Stay informed on market conditions, competitive properties, and emerging commercial real estate trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Asset Management experience within commercial real estate required.
• Experience managing commercial assets only ; residential-only backgrounds will not be considered.
• Proven experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and asset performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of commercial leases, tenant improvements, capital expenditures, and portfolio strategy.
• Experience working closely with ownership groups, investors, or stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Yardi experience preferred; experience with MRI, RealPage, or similar property management software will also be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
