As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Greenwood, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In a fast-moving environment, you will support daily operations with a caring, agile, and reliable approach while working with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify approved entry and exit activity, and report policy violations, damaged property, and/or operational disruptions according to post instructions.
• Support loss prevention and facility operations by observing package handling areas, reporting suspicious behavior, and maintaining accurate activity logs during varying shifts and working conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
