Job Summary and Qualifications

The Office Assistant provides vital administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of a hospital department. This role acts as the primary point of contact for patients and medical staff, balancing front-desk duties (such as greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and answering phones) with back-office tasks like managing electronic health records (EHR), verifying insurance, and ensuring strict HIPAA compliance. It requires a blend of sharp organizational skills, multitasking ability, and strong empathy to support patients in a fast-paced medical environment.

What qualifications you will need:

• 1 year of related experience in office or healthcare setting
