Role Description The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive pediatric care, including health assessments, diagnosis, and management of common childhood illnesses and chronic conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing individualized care plans. The role involves conducting wellness visits, immunizations, and routine screenings, as well as providing education and counseling to patients and families on growth, development, and preventive care. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care and maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Rome, GA. Qualifications Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and national certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-BC or equivalent). Demonstrated experience providing pediatric primary care, including wellness, acute, and chronic care management. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills, with proficiency in evidence-based pediatric practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary care teams. Ability to provide patient and family education on preventive care, growth and development, and disease management. Comfort with electronic health records and accurate, timely clinical documentation. Commitment to compassionate, family-centered care and culturally responsive practice.
