Maintenance Lead

Join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel! We are looking for a Full-Time, friendly, dependable, and motivated Maintenance Lead to help keep our hotel operating at its best.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the hotel while ensuring the property remains safe, functional, and welcoming for guests and team members. Working closely with the Hotel General Manager, this role performs preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements in alignment with Hegg's Mission, Vision, and Values.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Maintain guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to company standards.
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests efficiently.
• Assist with vendor coordination and facility projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel brand standards.
• Help create a positive experience for guests by responding promptly to maintenance concerns.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hotel maintenance supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous facility maintenance experience required; pool maintenance experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing maintenance expenses and controlling costs.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
