Medical Technical Writer

Medical Technical Writer We are currently seeking candidates for a Technical Writer opportunity with a global medical‑technology company in Boston, MA. The Technical Writer will be responsible for developing, revising, and maintaining high‑quality technical documentation across multiple product lines. The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of technical writing experience within life sciences, with specific experience supporting medical devices and/or IVD products. This is a 6-month contract opportunity paying between $40–$45/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work model of 3 days onsite in Boston, MA , and 2 days working from home. Responsibilities Write, edit, and revise technical documentation for internal and external use Perform complex documentation tasks across multiple product lines or specialization areas Ensure consistency, clarity, and compliance across all assigned documentation Contribute to documentation strategy, resource planning, and milestone execution Review and approve controlled documentation and maintain accuracy across versionsSupport system and product updates by revising and validating impacted documentation Monitor project risks and contribute to mitigation planning Perform any additional technical writing tasks as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (required) 3–5+ years of technical writing experience within life sciences (required) Specific experience supporting medical device or IVD documentation (required) Strong understanding of medical device regulations and governance requirements Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe FrameMaker (required) Knowledge of MadCap Flare (highly desired) Excellent grammar, attention to detail, and documentation quality standards Strong written communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities For immediate consideration, interested and qualified candidates should send their resume to Jackson at View email address on click.appcast.io. #J-18808-Ljbffr Daley And Associates, LLC
