About the Role

You’ll be working across the East Midlands, servicing, maintaining, and repairing a broad range of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. The role is home-based with regular travel to client sites, and on occasion, overnight stays may be required.

The focus is on delivering excellent service and first-time fixes rather than rushing from one job to the next. You’ll be supported by a friendly, experienced engineering team that works closely together to share knowledge and expertise.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 1-in-4 on-call rota (with overtime available)
• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)

Key Duties

• Service, repair, and maintain a wide range of refrigeration systems across commercial and industrial sites
• Diagnose faults efficiently and ensure reliable, high-standard repairs
• Plan and complete daily work effectively to meet client needs
• Complete service reports accurately and in good time
• Represent the company professionally when visiting client sites

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years experience in commercial and industrial refrigeration
• NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration (or equivalent)
• Valid F-Gas certification
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated, conscientious, and able to work independently
• Must have own basic hand tools
