Quality Control Laboratory Technician (Aerospace) - Pacoima, CA

Quality Control Laboratory TechnicianPay Rate: $22 - $25/HR, Paid Weekly (Depending on Experience)Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM (PST)Location: Pacoima, CAContract Assignment: ASAP Start, Temp to Hire (3-Month Contract)Job Description:Receive samples and perform laboratory testing in compliance with established specifications and standard operating procedures.Scheduling of batches for testing.Record test data and into log books.Assemble and generate routine reports on the quality control testing.Production batch approval.Production batch rejection.Determining proper batch adjustments to be made if needed.Maintain laboratory equipment and tools in clean, safe and good conditions.Work with other technicians to complete laboratory tasks within assigned timelines.Follow proper waste disposal and recycling methodologies.Education & Experience (Minimum Requirement):High School Diploma or equivalent.2 years-experience as laboratory technician OR 2 years of college education in chemistry.Working Conditions:May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.The ability to lift up to 30lbs.Use of computers and technology.Here at Canon Recruiting, people are our priority, and we are committed to include diversity in every segment of who we are.
