Dental Assistant

We are looking for the right candidate to grow professionally in our dental practice. This position does not require any prior training in the dental field. We have a proof of concept within our practice of training new team members, with no prior dental experience, into successful dental assistants. We are a growing Dental Office in State College who places a high emphasis on patient care and exceptional treatment and are looking for someone who shares in our values! We are searching for a motivated team player to join our clinical team. Our ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated, organized, energetic, personable, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure during busy hours while also providing our patients with a positive experience! Responsibility: taking ownership and following through on our commitments. Responsibilities Gather patient information and health background. Prepare the work area for procedures. Take x-rays of patients’ teeth when necessary and display results for the dentist. Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures. Prepare materials and instruments for dental procedures. Restock treatment areas and monitor inventory. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Schedule: Four 10-hour days per week; No weekends. Great hourly pay and generous bonuses depending on education and experience. All inquiries are kept confidential.
