Medical Billing Specialist

Experienced Medical BillerOur client is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team in Monsey, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, insurance claim processing, and accounts receivable follow-up. This is a full-time role with competitive pay and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment.Responsibilities:Prepare and submit insurance claims accurately and on timeReview and audit patient bills for accuracy and completenessFollow up on unpaid, rejected, or denied claimsCommunicate with insurance companies, providers, and patients to resolve billing issuesPost insurance and patient payments, and reconcile accountsStay updated on industry regulations and payer-specific requirementsMaintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standardsQualifications:Experience in medical billingProficient with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codesFamiliarity with insurance guidelines (Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers)Strong knowledge of EOBs, denials, appeals, and collectionsExperience with medical billing softwareExcellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
