Surg Tech CVOR - Travel Job

Join our team at Jackson HealthPros as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you'll function as a member of a cardiac team, expertly assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You'll ensure the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Experience handling open heart procedures
• Experience working in a general OR
• Driver's license required at submittal

Assignment Details

• 8 or 10 hour shifts beginning at 0700, Monday through Friday, with the same schedule week to week
• Call is required, including 10-15 total days per month with a combination of nights and weekends
• Weekend call is required
• Holiday call is required as needed
• Call response time is 15 minutes
• Will work on the CVOR team embedded in the general OR and support general, ortho, urology, and ENT cases when not doing cardiovascular cases
