Registered Nurse - ER travel assignment in a surgical center setting located in northwestern Arizona. Start date: 10/05/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,177-$2,260 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide triage, assessment, and continuous monitoring for patients presenting with emergency conditions; respond to life threats and activate the appropriate protocols
- Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders; establish and maintain IV access; monitor responses and adverse events
- Support perioperative and ambulatory surgical procedures; assist with anesthesia care and coordinate with surgical teams
- Perform procedures appropriate to the setting (wound care, dressing changes, specimen collection) and prepare patients for imaging, labs, or operative interventions
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure compliance with policies and standards; participate in discharge planning and patient education

Requirements
- Current registered nurse (RN) license; license from any U.S. state acceptable; Arizona license not required at hire
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within 12 months of hire; Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within 12 months; Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within 12 months; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 6 months; Emergency Severity Index Level 5 (ESI 5) within 3 months; Patient Sitter Competency Training required upon hire
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting; willing to work the stated night shift schedule
- Travel readiness and ability to comply with travel assignment requirements
