We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receiver to join our team. The receiver will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, verifying and organizing incoming materials, components and supplies. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring materials are available to support production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials, parts supplies and finished goods.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documents.
- Inspect materials for quantity, quality, damage and discrepancies.
- Accurately record received material in the inventory or warehouse management system.
- Label, organize and properly store materials in designated locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in receiving, shipping, warehouse or manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Forklift experience.
- Ability to read and understand purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/warehouse software.
