This role offers the chance to build expertise across multiple high-acuity practice areas; including the Emergency Department, ICU, and Antimicrobial Stewardship; rather than being limited to a single unit. What You'll Do

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit
• Review, verify, and enter medication orders while ensuring safe and appropriate therapy
• Conduct medication profile reviews and pharmacotherapy monitoring
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Manage pharmacist-driven consults according to established protocols
• Respond to critical patient care situations including stroke, sepsis, trauma, and cardiac arrest
• Provide drug information and clinical recommendations to the healthcare team
• Utilize Meditech for pharmacy documentation and workflow

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license or ability to obtain before start
• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD
• PGY1 residency or at least 3 years of current clinical hospital pharmacy experience
• Recent experience in acute care clinical pharmacy
• Experience participating in multidisciplinary rounds and clinical interventions
• Experience with Meditech is a plus
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
