Travel RN - Cath Lab/EP

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 2 years of cath lab experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work in a Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, including Hybrid OR settings,
• 3 total staffed beds on the unit,
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM,
• Every other weekend required per unit needs,
• On-call required with a 30-minute response time, averaging 9 days per month (3 weekend days and 6 weekdays),
• No floating required, though subject to change per unit needs,
• Uses Epic for charting,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand,
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA),
• CCI RCIS and CCRN certifications preferred,
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required,
• Epic charting experience required,
• Teaching hospital experience preferred,
• Proficiency with procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, PCI, TAVR, IABP placement, Impella insertion, and vascular closure systems preferred,
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, sedation management, and dysrhythmia interpretation,

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity academic Cath Lab environment, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures,
• Scrubs provided by the facility,
• Candidates with 3+ years of experience in an academic Cath Lab may be considered as first-time travelers,
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible for the local rate,
• Maximum 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods restricting RTO during certain weeks,
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted,
• Previous UCHealth employees or those on UCHealth's internal 'Do Not Use' list within the last two years will not be considered,
• Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
