Monday thru Friday – 7:30am to 4pm
$19hr to start.
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including the handling of materials, shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining equipment. This position requires a strong focus on safety and adherence to OSHA regulations while operating heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
- Perform materials handling tasks, loading and unloading goods, inventory, and maintaining storage areas.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on warehouse equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines in compliance with OSHA standards to promote a safe workplace.
- Support warehouse management in various tasks as needed, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or related fields is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, along with materials handling techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management.
