Bilingual Medical Assistant

Responsibilities Obtaining patient vital signs, performing blood draws, point of care lab tests, EKGs, & other procedures, rooming patients, stocking supplies, prepping/cleaning exam rooms Patient registration, scheduling, over-the-phone communication, clinical documentation, use of electronic medical records system, patient fee collection Supporting clinicians with clinical flow, restocking, & patient care needs Additional Areas of Responsibility Mentoring health apprentices in specific clinical skills, providing feedback to staff for use in program management decisions Supporting the work of the suboxone program & harm reduction program for people dealing with addictions Active participation in staff huddles & meetings Requirements Bilingual (Spanish) required Ability to commit consistent 40-hours per week MA accredited program or 2-3+ years experience Passionate about health equity and community empowerment a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Groundworks New Mexico
