Education Outreach Coordinator- Full TimeThis is a hybrid position and will require both in-office (3 days) and remote work (2 days). Hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.Salary - $46,000.00 - $51,000.00CancerCare is the leading national organization dedicated to providing free, professional support services including resource navigation, individual counseling, support groups, educational workshops, publications and financial assistance to anyone affected by cancer.CancerCare seeks a full-time Education Outreach Coordinator for their New York National Office.The Education Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for:Increasing awareness of CancerCare Education programs through outreach and marketing effortsResearching new topics, emerging trends in cancer treatment, and oncology speakers to expand program impactReviewing closed captioning for CancerCare Connect Education WorkshopsDrafting promotional emails for workshop participants and healthcare professionalsPreparing sample questions for workshopsMaintaining a database of faculty contact information, CVs, biosketches, and areas of expertiseOrganizing and maintaining Education Department reference filesIdentifying and implementing creative internal and external promotion strategiesResearching new collaborating organizations and professional groupsDrafting and proofreading workshop brochures and other Education Department materialsCollaborating with Education Department staff on ad hoc projects as neededPerform other duties as assignedBachelor’s degree with demonstrated interest in cancer patient education, public health, or health communicationsPrior outreach, marketing, and/or communications experience preferredStrong organizational, research, and documentation skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills, including interpersonal interactionAbility to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and work independently while maintaining confidentialityProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Zoom) required; Adobe InDesign proficiency requiredPlease provide a cover letter with your resume.No phone calls or in-person inquiries, please.
