Our growing team is seeking passionate people, ready to make an impact.Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician (Electro-mechanic)Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day:Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace mechanical components such as motors, gear boxes, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and screws.Repair/troubleshoot hydraulic cylinders, valves, solenoids and pumpsIdentify and make hydraulic hoses as neededAdvanced welding and fabrication skills. Must perform welding in various positions, locations and weld various types of jointsAbility to properly operate band saws, torch, drill presses, grinders and other shop toolsPerforms installation of new equipment. Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.Troubleshoot using electrical schematics and multimeter/megger to diagnose electrical issuesProperly size components and cabling for new electrical systemsReads and understands wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IO's, OL's, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical componentsFamiliar with troubleshooting/set up of VFD drives; SEW drives, Siemens, Lenze, Allen Bradley, ABFamiliar with interference fits and bearing heatersStart or jog equipment to perform maintenance tasksTest malfunctioning machinery, identify parts needed and complete repairsRepair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.).Document and perform all preventative maintenance tasks as required to maintain equipment dependability.Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:2 + years' experience working in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance or relevant field.Proficient with use of power tools, measuring devices, lathe and/or milling machineryPrevious experience using bearing heaters, interference fits, and/or removing gear boxes or seized bearings/shaftsPrevious experience with stick and MIG welding.Will need to fabricate projects as well as make welding repairsProficient Electrical skillsProficient in troubleshooting electrical components; IOs, OLs, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical componentsRead and comprehend schematics and diagrams.Experience with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systemsAble to use multi-meter, megger, and other test equipmentMaintain, install, troubleshoot VFDs, programmable sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs.Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopesCollaborative; Works in the spirit of partnership.Education and Experience:Electrical certificates or equivalent experience (preferred)Additional InformationWhy Work for Us?Techo-Bloc offers its valued associates a competitive salary, paid time off and a comprehensive benefits package.
