With a strong reputation for excellence across roofing, exteriors, solar and now mechanical services, we're continuing to grow—and we're looking for the right people to grow with us.Position SummaryWe're hiring a skilled HVAC Install Technician to take charge of residential and light commercial installations. This is a role for an experienced technician who thrives on delivering quality craftsmanship, and ensuring each install is completed to code, on time, and to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform the installation of HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and ductwork.Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to plan and execute installs.Coordinate closely with dispatch, project managers, and clients to meet project timelines.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, local codes, and manufacturer specifications.Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve on-site challenges with professionalism and accuracy.Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized throughout each project.Maintain accurate installation records and report project status.Inventory and maintain tools, equipment, and company-provided materials.Qualifications3–5+ years of HVAC installation experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferredValid EPA certification (Type II or Universal)Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordDeep knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, and safety protocolsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and project documentsStrong communication, and customer service skillsPhysically able to lift 75+ lbs, work in various weather conditions, and perform tasks on ladders or in tight spacesWorking ConditionsFull-time, in-field role based out of our Davenport, IA locationWork performed in homes and commercial properties throughout the regionCompany vehicle and tools providedCompensationBased on experienceBenefitsHealth insurancePaid time off and holidaysOngoing training and professional developmentCompany vehicle and tools providedCore ValuesAt R3 Roofing & Exteriors, our core values of Loyalty, Accountability, and Community form the cornerstone of our company culture and operations.
