Finance Lead

Job Overview Capital Group’s Strategic Analysis team partners closely with senior leaders across the firm to evaluate business challenges through a financial strategy lens and inform critical decisions. Responsibilities Develop and present evidence‑based recommendations to stakeholders, influencing key business decisions. Conduct market research to assess global growth opportunities and inform regional business strategies. Analyze product and industry trends and work closely with business partners to formulate business cases for strategic investments. Drive financial and economic evaluations of location, staffing, pricing, and other business strategies through rigorous research, operational assessments, cost studies, ROI analyses, and related activities. Engage in coaching, mentorship, professional development sessions and network with leaders across the organization. Qualifications Strong research capabilities, superior analytical and critical‑thinking skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work independently with limited direction, breaking down complex business problems into actionable financial analyses. Advanced Excel skills and experience building varied financial models that analyze economic impacts, assess risk, and explore multiple scenarios. Data literacy: request, validate, transform, and self‑source data from systems such as SAP, SQL, and other interfaces. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to synthesize complex analyses into executive‑level summaries. Strong relational skills and demonstrated ability to partner with business stakeholders at all levels. Team player comfortable in an agile, fast‑paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field. 3+ years of relevant strategic financial analysis, corporate strategy, or consulting experience. Compensation & Benefits Southern California base salary range: $99,484 – $159,174 (annualized). Competitive base salary, annual performance bonus, and Capital’s annual profitability bonus.
