IT Support Technician – Restaurant Technology We are seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician to support technology across a growing multi-unit quick-service restaurant organization. This role combines on-site restaurant support with remote troubleshooting and systems administration. Restaurant experience is highly valued. You should understand why a POS or kitchen display going down during a lunch rush requires a very different response than a routine support ticket. Compensation & Benefits $75,000-$90,000 base salary Bonus opportunity Transportation stipend 401(k) with company match Medical, dental & vision insurance Paid time off + sick time Career growth opportunities Weekday core hours with occasional after-hours/weekend support Approximately 70% travel throughout NJ, NY, CT, PA, DE and surrounding markets What You'll Do Provide remote and on-site IT support for restaurant and corporate teams. Troubleshoot POS, KDS, online ordering, payment systems, computers, printers and restaurant hardware . Diagnose network and connectivity issues, including IP addressing, Wi-Fi, VLANs, firewalls and failover. Support Microsoft 365 , user accounts, permissions, onboarding and offboarding. Support POS menu configuration, pricing, modifiers, routing and 86ing across ordering channels. Troubleshoot integrations between ordering, payment and kitchen systems. Train restaurant teams and coordinate with outside vendors when necessary. Assist with new restaurant openings, technology installations, testing and system rollouts. Identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions. What We're Looking For 1–3+ years of IT support, networking, POS support or related experience. Hands-on experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting POS systems . Restaurant experience strongly preferred , especially QSR, fast-casual or multi-unit operations. Understanding of restaurant workflows from order entry through kitchen routing, payment and reporting. Working knowledge of networking, Microsoft 365 and remote support tools . Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Comfortable working hands-on in restaurants and traveling between locations. Valid driver's license and ability to provide occasional after-hours/weekend support.
