We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Healthcare Business Development Manager to grow market share throughout Evanston, Skokie and Northbrook areas. This role is ideal for a true sales hunter who enjoys developing new referral relationships, expanding existing accounts, and generating revenue through strategic business development efforts.

The successful candidate will promote private duty home care and private duty skilled nursing services to hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, hospice companies other healthcare referral partners.
This is a field-based role requiring daily travel throughout the assigned territory and frequent face-to-face meetings with referral sources and clients. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales

• Develop new referral sources through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and relationship-building activities.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing referral partners.
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
• Conduct a high volume of in-person visits with referral sources and healthcare organizations.
• Identify opportunities to grow revenue across multiple service lines, including:
  • Private Duty Home Care
  • Skilled Nursing

Territory Management

• Manage and grow an active pipeline of prospects and referral sources throughout Evanston, Skokie and Northbrook areas.
• Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and growth opportunities within the territory.
• Participate in community events, networking organizations and healthcare associations.
• Represent the company professionally at industry events and community outreach initiatives

CRM & Marketing

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, referrals, leads, and outcomes within CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
• Track and report sales metrics, pipeline activity, and territory performance.
• Assist with local marketing initiatives and maintain social media presence through LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and company web platforms.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with the Branch Manager, Director of Operations, and Regional Leadership to execute territory growth strategies.
• Provide weekly sales reports, market intelligence, and business development updates.
• Support planning and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives.

Required Skills Qualifications
Required

• Minimum of 2 years of outside sales, business development, or healthcare sales experience in the private pay sector.
• Valid driver's license, Auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel daily throughout the territory.
• Proven success generating leads, developing referral relationships, and closing business.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Preferred

• Experience in home care is preferred.
• Established healthcare referral network within the territory.
• Experience presenting to physicians, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare administrators and families.
