Fire Sprinkler Estimator

Position: Fire Sprinkler Estimator Job Details Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year Benefits Competitive base salary plus commissions 50% employer paid health insurance 401(k) with company match Other benefits (please inquire) Responsibilities Conduct detailed cost estimates and takeoffs for fire sprinkler systems in various types of buildings and facilities. Read and interpret blueprints, fire sprinkler plans, and specifications to determine scope of work. Utilize construction estimating software to accurately calculate material and labor costs. Interact with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to provide cost‑effective solutions. Ensure estimates comply with NFPA standards and Florida Fire Codes. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost‑tracking reports. Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in fire protection technology. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Estimator. Proficiency in estimating and takeoffs using construction estimating software. Extensive knowledge of NFPA standards and Florida Fire Codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fire sprinkler plans. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
