A skilled nursing facility in the Cincinnati area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance, safety, and physical operations of our facility.
We are looking for a hands-on leader with prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience who understands the unique regulatory and safety requirements of a healthcare environment.
ResponsibilitiesOversee daily maintenance and upkeep of the facility, grounds, and equipment
Ensure compliance with Life Safety Code standards, fire safety requirements, and applicable healthcare regulations
Maintain required maintenance, inspection, and Life Safety documentation
Perform and coordinate preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot and address general HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance needs
Coordinate outside vendors and contractors as needed
Prepare the facility for state surveys and Life Safety inspections
Respond promptly to urgent maintenance needs
Previous maintenance experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility required
Strong working knowledge of Life Safety Code standards and healthcare compliance
Experience with preventative maintenance and facility inspections
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Ability to prioritize projects and respond effectively to emergencies
Must be dependable and available for on-call maintenance emergencies
