Lead Medical AssistantMedStaff Group is seeking a highly experienced and capable Lead Medical Assistant to take a key leadership role within a busy, fast-paced medical practice in Cedarhurst.This position requires someone who can take ownership of the clinical floor, lead the MA team, and ensure providers and patients are supported efficiently throughout the day.Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the Medical Assistant team and daily clinical workflowDelegate responsibilities and ensure staff accountabilityTrain, mentor, and support new and existing Medical AssistantsCoordinate closely with providers to keep patient flow running efficientlyOversee room preparation, supplies, labs, specimens, vaccines, and clinical proceduresEnsure accurate and timely documentation within eClinicalWorks (eCW)Monitor clinical standards, infection control, and proper documentationTroubleshoot workflow issues and take initiative to resolve problemsStep in and work hands-on as a Medical Assistant whenever neededServe as the primary point person between the MA team, providers, and managementRequirements:Strong Medical Assistant experience requiredStrong eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience is REQUIREDPrevious Lead MA, Senior MA, or supervisory experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of clinical and medical-office workflowsExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsMust be comfortable managing staff and holding team members accountableAbility to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentDependable, proactive, and able to take ownership with minimal supervisionCompensation: $25–$30 per hourWe are looking for a true leader — someone who knows eCW, understands clinical operations, can command the floor, and can become the person both providers and management rely on to keep the practice running at a high level.
