Elementary 2nd Grade Registered Behavior Technician in Racine, WI

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Registered Behavior Technician with moderate to severe needs experience. This position focuses on K-2 students in an inclusive elementary environment, where your efforts will make a direct impact on children's lives and educational outcomes.


Candidates should bring a compassionate, patient approach and strong behavioral intervention skills suited for a caseload of approximately 12 students. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating closely with teachers, specialists, and families to implement Individualized Education Plans and positive behavioral strategies. The regular schedule spans 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, offering consistency and structure.


Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current RBT credential required
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with moderate to severe needs, ideally in K-2 or elementary settings
• Familiarity with instructional accommodations and behavior intervention for early elementary grades
• Ability to document and communicate student progress effectively
• Team-oriented, with strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of BCBA or supervising clinicians
• Support instruction and classroom routines for 1st and 2nd grade students
• Monitor and record behavioral data to guide student support
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings to adapt strategies as needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging classroom atmosphere
• Engage with families and caregivers to promote consistency and student success
