The Business Analyst will utilize their analytical skills to assist the revenue team in managing Northgate Resorts' 9,000+ cabin, RV, and tent sites across 35+ locations. This role will support pricing, inventory management, systems management, forecasting, and strategic revenue growth through high-quality data analysis, performance evaluation, and system optimization. This is a full-time position reporting to the Revenue Manager.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain daily and weekly reports on site revenue, retail, food & beverage, and other revenue centersConduct ad-hoc analysis to support planning and operational decision-makingBuild and maintain data models to support performance analysis and scenario planningAnalyze historical performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunitiesAssist with forecasting and budgeting across business unitsSupport inventory management, pricing strategies, and demand planning effortsIdentify and escalate issues with data integrity or operational inconsistenciesLeverage Python or other data programming languages to automate data gathering, transformation, and reporting workflowsSummarize key insights and present findings to internal stakeholdersSupport cross-functional projects and departmental initiativesBuilding out the backend of reservations management systems and point of sale systemsInterfacing with park employees on questions, programs etc.General administrative duties and data entryParticipates in other projects and activities as assignedEducation/Training/ExperienceBachelor's Degree in data analysis, statistics, finance, accounting, computer science, business, or a related field—or equivalent professional experienceAdvanced Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Data Modeling, Array Formulas, Charting)Familiarity with Google Workspace (G-Suite)Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus, but not requiredExperience with reservation, POS, or pricing systems is helpful but not mandatoryStrong experience with data modeling and forecasting techniques in Excel or similar toolsProficiency with Python or similar data programming languages for automation and data processing tasks1–2 years of experience in a data analysis, business analysis, or hospitality operations role preferredQualifications/RequirementsStrong analytical thinking and attention to detailCollaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionallyAbility to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlinesProfessional demeanor with a strong work ethicResults-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and initiativeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust be able to work in a fast-paced office environmentEssential Physical DemandsRemain stationary for long periodsWalk and occasionally stand during shiftContinuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipeAble to lift up to 20 lbsAble to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, serve, etcAbility to look at a computer monitor for extended periodsNorthgate provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
