Position Overview We are in search of a dedicated and adept Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging professionals committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform essential diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a nurturing team of healthcare providers, and help ease patient hearts through precise and prompt imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy and understanding
- Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
- Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Solid technical proficiency in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to function independently as well as part of a diverse clinical team
