Automation Engineer

Automation EngineerMidwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add an Automation Engineer to their Peoria team! Responsibilities: Responsible for the design, installation, commissioning and testing process, and instrumentation & control systems (SCADA) Collaborate with internal departments including information technology, engineering, and operations Provide project management, manage teams, and ensure quality control during all phases of project Provide instrumentation & control design services for water/wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and related facilities Onsite work for municipal clients (instrumentation configuration, installation assistance, and control system and process start-up/testing On-call 24/7 (rotate weekly) to troubleshoot instrumentation/control issues Requirements: B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology 5+ years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Engineer performing design, programming, installation and startup tasks Programming experience using PLCs, SCADA, and OITs software Experience using various products ( Concentric Integration primarily include Allen-Bradley SLC, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, PanelView, Rockwell FactoryTalk View, GE iFIX, Inductive Automation Ignition, Wonderware System Platform, InTouch, and other hardware/software) Advanced computer skills Auto CAD/Visio experience preferred Salary is commensurate with experience.
