Accounting Associate

The Accounting Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the company. This position involves assisting with various accounting tasks, including the preparation of financial statements, managing accounts payable, and performing bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare balance sheet and P&L reconciliations Prepare and record journal entries Record invoices and support the order-to-pay cycle Assist in the preparation of financial statements in line with US GAAP Support treasury activities as needed Assist in preparing audit support and responding to auditor requests Support system implementations and upgrades, including accounting and finance ERPs Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment processing Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience CPA or progress toward CPA preferred Experience supporting financial reporting and close cycles preferred Experience in SaaS, software, or financial services environments preferred Strong attention to detail with a hands-on, proactive approach Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Experience with accounting/finance ERP (SAGE) systems highly desirable Experience in accounts payable and bank reconciliation is essential Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
