Associate Manager, Plan to Perform (FP&A)

Role Associate Manager, Plan to Perform (FP&A) Location Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with offices in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities welcome remotely. Office options: Hybrid or Remote. We expect 8 days of in-person work per month for those within a 45‑minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office. Travel: Up to 40% What You’ll Do Lead conversations with finance leaders and executive stakeholders to understand FP&A/EPM strategy and provide actionable insights. Guide and oversee EPM/FP&A implementation projects, including process assessments, redesign, and EPM system selection. Assist in managing workstreams to ensure delivery across the full system development lifecycle (functional and technical requirements, integrations, testing cycles, go‑live). Apply deep functional expertise across corporate finance EPM/FP&A processes. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, proactively managing milestones, risks, dependencies, and change impacts. Create and deliver executive‑quality communications and presentations that clearly articulate complex business concepts. Build strong client and internal relationships while consistently modeling the Clearsulting Core Values. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business‑related field. 3+ years of management consulting experience in the EPM/FP&A space or 5+ years in an internal FP&A role. Proven project and people leadership skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced consulting environment. Eligibility to work in the United States and Canada. Willingness and ability to travel. Nice‑to‑Haves 1+ certifications and/or implementations in relevant technology (Pigment, Anaplan, OneStream). Pigment experience preferred but not required. Project management experience, including workplan development, milestone tracking, risk management, status reporting, and change management. Experience contributing to or leading practice growth initiatives tied to revenue and margin outcomes. Experience building and maintaining strong client and internal relationships within a consulting environment. Team‑oriented mindset with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
