Fun fact: the plant is across the street from Prince's former home and produces more than 110 products.What we have to offer:$22.06 per hour starting$26.20 per hour after orientation (90 days)$27.52 per hour after all training requirements are metUp to 120 hours (15 days) vacation annually (depending on schedule)11 paid company holidays401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, life insuranceCareer growth and cross-training opportunitiesYour work schedule and shift information:12-hour shiftsAM: 6:00am – 6:30pmPM: 6:00pm – 6:30amCurrently hiring for BOTH shiftsRotating crew pattern: - 2 on followed by 2 off, 3 on followed by 2 off, 2 on followed by 3 offMust be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays as neededPlant operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.Key accountabilities:Support packaging and processing operationsParticipate in equipment startup, changeovers, and shutdownsTroubleshoot equipment issues and partner with MaintenanceCalibrate systems to meet required specificationsPerform quality and safety checksClean and sanitize production equipment and work areasParticipate in continuous improvement initiativesAssist in training new employeesSupport production tasks such as bagging, stacking, counting, paper feeding, oiling, and related line operationsAssist other plant areas as assignedMinimum qualifications:High school diploma or GEDAbility to work rotating 12-hour shiftsMust possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)Ability to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periodsWillingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditionsAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standardsAbility to wear protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergensPreferred qualifications:Manufacturing or production experienceEligibility:Applicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification.Equal opportunity employer (EOE)General Mills is an equal opportunity employer.
