JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Procurement Specialist is a critical member of the PRISM Purchasing team and will be responsible for purchasing the FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) for DeNovo’s relocations, expansions, and acquisition projects as required. They will also be responsible for centrally purchasing medications and equipment for clinics as required. This position requires advanced time management skills, problem solving skills, excellent customer service, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple project timelines. The position maintains a positive working relationship with our suppliers/vendors along with multiple departments within DaVita.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Place purchase orders, follow up, track and/or expedite to ensure deliveries meet targeted operation dates Keep dashboard/database current Maintain open communication with Project Managers via phone, email, text Maintain open communication within internal stakeholders Build and develop positive working relationships with the team, teammates and vendors Attend and actively participate in Project Roadmap calls Attend and actively participate in calls with business partners Frequent communication with vendors via phone and email to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery dates Ability to work on multiple priorities and projects simultaneously Help implement department process improvements Support, provide guidance, and educate teammates on current processes and procedures, as well as on‑going changes Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to: Work overtime with little or no notice as needed Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed Participate in company meetings and conference calls as required Assist with coverage during staffing shortages and leaves of absence Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position Occasional travel for team meetings

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
