Account Executive – Dealer Channel, West Region Location: US-WA-Seattle | US-OR-Portland | US-ID-Boise | US-AZ-Phoenix | US-CO-Denver | US-UT-Salt Lake City. About the Role Canon USA is looking for a driven and strategic Account Executive to support and expand our independent dealer network across key Western U.S. markets. This role blends channel management, consultative sales, and relationship development to accelerate Canon’s growth across hardware, software, and service offerings. As the face of Canon to your assigned dealers, you’ll collaborate with dealer principals, sales reps, and end‑user customers to drive Canon visibility, promote key programs, and ensure alignment on shared revenue goals for digital imaging office products in the Western United States Region. This position requires the ability to travel up to 75% (average 4 days per week) and is home‑based in the Northwest Region. Your Impact Manage and grow revenue within an assigned portfolio of independent Canon dealers. Conduct frequent in‑field visits (3–4 days per week) to strengthen relationships and drive sales activity. Lead joint sales efforts on large deals and major account opportunities; participate in end‑user sales calls. Deliver strategic quarterly business strategy meetings (QBRs) with top dealers, providing performance insights and growth planning. Promote and support Canon’s full portfolio, including hardware (imageFORCE, imageRUNNER ADVANCE, Production, Large Format, imageCLASS, Printers, Scanners); software (uniFLOW, Therefore, PRISMA); and programs (Canon Financial Services, CSMP, Canon Academy Training). Collaborate cross‑functionally with Solutions Analysts, LFS Specialists, and Marketing to maximize territory performance. Identify and engage with potential new dealers to expand Canon’s footprint. Provide market intel, competitive insights, and dealer feedback to internal stakeholders. About You – The Skills & Expertise You Bring Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3–5 years of related sales and/or marketing experience supporting industry‑specific products (copier or similar technical field). Knowledge of or ability to learn technical product and workflow knowledge to assist the Dealer Sales Channel and End‑User customers with detailed analysis and recommendation of Canon hardware and software solutions. Travel experience: 3–4 business days per week, 2–3 times per month, with a minimum of three dealer visits per week. Preferred: Candidate resides in the Northwestern States Region (e.g., Washington, Oregon, Idaho). Proven track record of exceeding quota and driving growth in complex sales environments. Strong presentation and relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence dealer and customer decision‑makers. Comfortable engaging with C‑level executives at dealers and end‑user accounts, presenting sales strategies, ROI discussions and technical workflow analysis. Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and readiness for up to 75% overnight travel. Experience with system integration/distribution sales preferred. Experience utilizing a CRM system; Salesforce.com preferred. Compensation Base salary: $69,300 – $103,770 annually (or $80,170 – $103,770 if located in Washington). Eligible for commissions under applicable plan.
