Work Environment\n

This position operates in a remote setting, enabling flexibility while maintaining a strong connection to our valued clients and team members. Working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekend shifts on a rotational basis, you will engage in meaningful therapeutic interactions that promote mental wellness. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms for each client.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans by collaborating with clients, taking into account their specific challenges and aspirations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Monitor client progress consistently throughout the treatment process, modifying treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and a cohesive treatment approach.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices related to mood disorders to provide the highest quality of care.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client sessions and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to develop rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and an ability to collaborate with medical professionals regarding client care.
